
Each resident is assigned a Master’s prepared clinical specialist who is responsible for managing and monitoring the course of treatment. This therapist works in conjunction with other members of a multi-disciplinary team to develop a Treatment Plan.
The success of treatment is measured by the attainment of specific goals outlined in the plan. It is integrative- utilizing information from a variety of sources and collaborative- involving multiple team members and input from the resident. It outlines behavioral expectations as well a clinically intense blend of therapies, activities, and experiences designed to meet the goals of the plan.
Although the frequency and duration of specific therapies vary based upon the age, cognitive functioning and need of the resident, each week all receive a minimum of one hour of individual therapy and five hours of group therapy. Therapists also provide crisis related therapy sessions as needed.
