My name is Dorothy. And like Dorothy Gale landing in Oz, I felt overwhelmed when I first came to live at The Children's Campus.
Through my time here, I learned The Children's Campus is like a diamond; multifaceted, always changing and growing. There are many people who work toward the common goal: the health and safety of the children.
We often forget the people who make it possible to pave a brighter future for the children involved. There are many doctors, nurses, staff, psychiatrists, mentors, kitchen staff, recreation staff, and many more people who make the daily functions and well-being of the residents of The Children’s Campus possible. Sometimes the children involved aren’t always willing to help the people trying to help them.
In the coming weeks, I'll be interviewing the people who help keep the vision alive, even though they often do a thankless job.
I hope you will stay tuned and keep reading!
