Transitional Living Program
The Children's Campus® has developed a new, strength-based Transitional Living Program (TLP) designed to help at-risk youth transition from dependence to complete independence. Training and support will be given to youth as they move along a continuum of self-sufficiency, learning to handle greater responsibility and working to set and achieve vocational and educational goals. This program is run by qualified staff who will provide case management services, independent living skills training, access to community resources, and support and guidance during this challenging time in the youths' lives.
TLP serves:
• Youth ages 16-21
• Runaway and homeless youth
• Youth who are emancipated or receive concent from their legal guardians to participate; youth who cannot be wards of the court or state.
• Pregnant or parenting youth.
All youth and TLP staff are housed at a local apartment complex.
The complex is located approximately 1.5 miles from The Children's Campus®. The complex was chosen for its safe and well maintained facilities.

Residents will live alone in one or two bedroom apartments that will be furnished and supplied with the basic necessities for independent living.
Services include:
• Supervised and subsidized apartment living for up to 18 months
• Educational and vocational training
• Access to community resources
• Individual and/or family therapy
• Independent living skills training
• Weekday, evening and weekend training and case management services
